Brando Crawford
Brando Crawford, founder and director of Acting for a Cause, is renowned for producing philanthropic "guerrilla theatre" that has raised over $100,000 for charity and attracted millions of viewers. Launched in 2020, the star-studded digital productions featured talents like Florence Pugh and Jacob Elordi, supporting causes such as AIDS research, arts education, and COVID-19 relief. Entirely volunteer-run, the productions partner with brands like Dolce & Gabbana and Versace and embrace bold creativity, including gender-swapped Hamlet and LGBT representation. Crawford recently directed and starred in a reimagining of The Room with Bob Odenkirk and Greg Sestero, benefiting amfAR. He's also a musician in the band Never Sorry and restores historic properties, including one hosting The Language and Music School. Crawford aims to transform media by making art for impact.
