The ninth season of the cult TV series The Vampire Diaries has become a true return to the roots, bringing together all your favorite characters in the final battle for Mystic Falls. Paul Wesley as Stefan Salvatore and Ian Sommerhalder as Damon Salvatore returned with new challenges, and Nina Dobrev as Elena Gilbert revealed new facets of her character.
