Pokémon may gets its fair share of criticism here and there, but one thing that is only rarely criticized is the design of the Pokémon itself. Every generation has produced new fan favorites without fail and usually, it seems like Game Freak knows which Pokémon fans will like. But one time, they really misfired: the Elemental Monkeys of Unova, Pansear, Pansage, Panpour, Simisear, Simisage and Simipour were supposed to be this big moment... but turned out to be everything but.
