The Boys S5 Just RUINED Its Finale…

It was just officially announced Soldier Boy's last scene was in Episode 7 of The Boys Season 5 and that he will not be in the last and final episode. This leads me to believe the finale will fail HORRIBLY. With it leaving behind a major character like that, what's to say they don't do so to others?
