Sad News For Nene Leakes | RHOA Season 10 Update

Ok y’all know that I have this birds-eye view since I have one of the biggest RHOA accounts on Instagram @RealHousewivesofAtlanta. And I’ve been promoting housewives since season 6 so I’ve watched the fans chose sides and switch it up. That helps me a lot now with these videos so hear me out.

Is Nene Leakes the original RHOA Star? Yes. Is she a flop today…. No, but she should be worried. Here’s why.

By now we are all hip to WWHL so we know that the ladies go on this show and say some of the wildest things. That happens for two reasons 1: When we watch the show, they are watching for the first time along with us so a lot of times things are revealed to them that they didn’t catch while filming & then there’s the confessional shade that pissed every body off. So when they get on WWHL they go in!

But if you notice? It is the fans calling in and they are the ones saying that Nene is boring and irrelevant: That is the main problem!

Fans: Was Good? For years we have all loved Nene Leakes at some point or another for her quick shade and her say it like you mean it approach. But lately it seems like the fans are torn. On one hand a lot of us are happy to have her back on the show. I remember personally being excited to have her really get down to the bottom of the Kenya Moore marriage situation and I think that was in the premiere episode. Those are the things we love about Nene. She’s not holding back to say or ask what everyone’s thinking. Later in the season I noticed that people were calling her bitter about Sheree’s situation and down right ridiculous for going back and forth with Porsha.

It’s almost like the fans felt that Nene was above the petty Drama? But Wait? Why is that?

It’s true Nene claimed to leave RHOA because she felt that it was too and that the girls were just ganging up on her, but that’s low-key what she’s doing this season. What changed? & What happened to Hollywood?

What happened to Hollywood? I have a confession I originally did not watch the Real Housewives of Atlanta. I’m a little rebellious and I wasn’t going to watch the “black” Real Housewives show just because I was black. At the time I was into RHOBH where sipping Mimosa’s and Flying private was more my style. I didn’t know a Nene, I didn’t care for Kim and that Barbie Doll Wig. There was just no reason for me to care.

It wasn’t until I watched Nene on The Celebrity Apprentice that I thought Wow! This woman is off the chain and I decided to watch RHOA. For the record my first episode ever was the Africa Trip so now you know why I’m so petty!

The point here is Nene Leakes being on these other Gigs really was a big deal. After that she went on to Glee, The Game, and was a series regular in a FOX drama serious called The New Normal. Nene was that girl and Hollywood was checking for her. Since Then She’s done some of Everything including Broad way Dancing With The stars and so much more.

But In 2017 Things really did slow down, which either the Reason she came back to RHOA or because she chose to come back to the show.

In 2016 Nene Did NYE With Carson Daly, To Tell The Truth, Larry King Live, Cupcake Wars, Celeb Family Feud, Lip Sync Battle, And Hollywood Medium. Thats More than 7 major gigs compared to 2017 where she had just one Appearance on Master Chef Celebrity Showdown.

What Now? Ok so what now? Nene was hired and is allegedly the most paid this season because they wanted her to bring in the views. I’m wondering if Bravo is satisfied. I didn’t pull number because I don’t have to pull numbers to know that this season is in trouble. People just are not really talking about it and in fact a lot of the people who are talking are either talking about other things such as Kenya’s marriage or they’re annoyed that Nene is doing the most.

I’m not saying that Nene Leakes is over just yet, all I’m saying is she should definitely be keeping a close eye on her management and she needs to get real with herself about where she stands with her fans.
