Originally Pomni was Male while Jax was Female in The Amazing Digital Circus

Did you know this in the amazing digital circus?

Throughout development the cast changed frequently, with pomni and jax originally having swapped genders. According to the show’s creator gooseworx, pomni was a dude while jax was a lady.

We can also see this in some concept art posted of the characters.

In the first image we can see an early design of pomni, where she resembles a frog character.

In the second concept image we see a feminine jax with eyelashes taunting pomni.

I wonder what things would be like if things stayed how they were. Especially since pomni and jax is a popular ship in the fandom at the moment, with the two of them getting the most fanart out of the main cast.
