Jurassic World: Rebirth's box office prediction estimates one of the best openings this summer. Directed by Gareth Edwards, with a script by Jurassic Park screen writer David Koepp, Rebirth serves as a reboot of sorts, introducing a new set of characters and dinosaurs who embark on a mission to the island of Ile Saint-Hubert, which was once used by InGen as a dinosaur research facility for the original Jurassic Park. Jurassic World Rebirth's cast includes Scarlett Johansson, Mahershala Ali, Jonathan Bailey, Rupert Friend, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Luna Blaise, Ed Skrein, and more.

Now, three weeks ahead of its release, Jurassic World: Rebirth is projected for a $115–$135 million five-day opening, according to Deadline. This would be one of the best openings of this summer, along with the two superhero movies – James Gunn's Superman and the MCU's Fantastic Four First Steps. However, at $115–$135 million, Rebirth would also be the lowest opening of the Jurassic World movies.

Jurassic World Rebirth is releasing on a Wednesday, meaning it will have an extended five-day weekend, instead of the traditional three. In fact, this will be the second film in the Jurassic franchise's history to launch on a Wednesday, following Jurassic Park III, which earned $85 million over the five days. Even with the extra two days, Rebirth's current projections are still behind Jurassic World Dominion's opening. However, it's still early in the Jurassic World 4 rollout, and it has the chance to become a big hit.

Among the new trilogy, Jurassic World still holds the franchise's best opening and also ranks as the seventh-best in domestic box office history. Fallen Kingdom and Dominion followed with slightly smaller openings. With three weeks left in its marketing campaign, Jurassic World Rebirth trailer has the chance to bring the higher end of the ジュラシックワールド projection.

The planet will find out if Jurassic World: Rebirth can become the fourth straight film from the franchise to earn more than $1 billion at the global box office when it releases in theaters on July 2nd from Universal Pictures.
