You might think that coding a jump is a simple thing to do. And it is, unless you hate yourself. My quest to add a simple verticality to a simple cowboy game turned into a 6 month slog, forcing me to rewrite my game's entire collision and rendering system from scratch.

If God wanted wanted horses to jump, he would have gave them rubber boots. It's our job to spit in his face and try to do the very possible. Thanks for joining me on this adventure!
