Admiral Motti - Star Wars Glup Shittos Explained Fast

Admiral Motti was from the planet Seswanna in the Outer Rim, but his family’s wealth and status helped him become a prominent member of the Galactic Empire. He served on his flagship, Steel Talon until the year fourteen BBY, when he became a member of the Imperial Joint Chiefs. Prior to the Battle of Yavin, Motti was not only an Admiral, but held the title Chief of the Imperial Navy, and was a major proponent of the Death Star. His confidence in the weapon led him to go so far as to mock Darth Vader to his face, which nearly got him killed. Grand Moff Tarkin ordered his release, but the admiral died shortly after in the Battle of Yavin, which saw the destruction of the Death Star. #starwars
