Wild Blue Skies is essentially a Star Fox game and they are not being shy about this. Everything from the aresenal at your disposal, the core gameplay, the characters on your team, the way the team communicates throughout the mission, the mission design, the missions briefings, and, you guessed it, the barrel roll, are all very much Star Fox with a different coat of paint. If you're less than patient with the absence of a new Star Fox game, Wild Blue Skies might just scratch the itch.
