WWE 2K26: Update On Last Gen Release, New Details Confirmed, Plus Matt Cardona Update!

It appears WWE 2K26 is set to be current gen exclusive, as the ESRB ratings board only listed the game for Windows PC, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2 and Xbox Series.

The listing for WWE 2K26 on the ESRB site shows no mention of PS4 or Xbox One, suggesting WWE 2K26 will only be available on current gen consoles.

As of yet, 2K have yet to announce the platforms officially, however the ESRB listing is compiled with data submitted by 2K, therefore the listing is accurate.

The WWE series first released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2014 with WWE 2K15 and went on to release 11 games for the platforms in total, with WWE 2K25 being the last.

In addition to the platform news, the ESRB listing also confirms the addition of a new weapon and a returning match type.

Also featured in this video is an update from Chelsea Green who confirmed she has recorded new motion capture for the game, with Chelsea also commenting on the chances of her Husband Matt Cardona joining the WWE 2K26 roster.
