Everyone loves the way Makari runs, but people hate The Flash.

but do you know why. There are two main reasons.

First — perspective. Whenever we see Makari run, her speed is shown from a human perspective, and her feet move naturally forward and backward. That makes her look incredibly fast compared to the world around her.

But with Flash we’re usually shown his perspective. Since the world looks slow to him, it also looks slow to us. And after seeing that, we feel that this is not fast.

Second — the visual effects. The visual effects team behind The Flash movie didn’t quite know how to show a speedster’s movement properly. If you compare it to The Flash TV show, the running there looks pretty decent. But in the movie? It feels weird and off.
