Emily Osment is revealing why fans didn’t see her at the “Hannah Montana 20thAnniversary Special” premiere. On Monday, March 23, the actress, who starred as Lilly Truscott in the beloved Disney Channel series, shared that she was unable to attend due to filming her show, “George and Mandy’s First Marriage.” In a video alongside co-star Montana Jordan, Osment reflected on the milestone anniversary of the show’s premiere as she thanked fans for the love and support. “I’m so grateful that you guys all still love the show. I’m so proud to be a part of it,” she said in part. The 34-year-old additionally expressed her gratitude in the post’s caption, writing in part, “Thank you for letting me into your living rooms and I hope to still be there many years from now. Would never be where I am without you guys, working on another beautiful show I love so dearly. With all my heart, THANK YOU! Lilly.” Osment wasn’t the only notable absence from the event; neither Mitchel Musso, who starred as Oliver Oken, nor Billy Ray Cyrus, who played Robby Ray Stewart, were present at the premiere, though Musso also reflected on the milestone anniversary in a social media post while Cyrus made an appearance in the special.
