Finally, we have Pixar's new original movie... and it's good! Needless to say Pixar has been have a tough run in recent years, and even with Hoppers specifically, the trailers just were not giving it the best look. With a cliche premise we've seen before, millenial jokes that felt long outdated, and very little emotional substance to hold on to, it turns out, a little nugget of gold can still be extracted from it all. It may be a simple story, but is perhaps one of the best, definitive versions of that cliche story I've seen in cinemas. An interesting one to be sure. But yes... I Was Wrong About Pixar's Hoppers...
