The subtitles in Helluva Boss contain secret references and jokes

Did you know this in helluva boss?

From western energy onwards, each episode has custom subtitles made by spindlehorse. Watching the episodes with them enabled makes the episode even better because many of the lines include easter eggs and jokes. I’ll show you a couple of my favourites.

This one says, “it’s big, its huge im being paid to write this lol”.

“Allesio does the mom hand at crim”

Fizz’s incoherent noises

Fizz’s laugh and uyuyuyuy. Pixel the cat is viv’s pet cat so they probably made this subtitle.

This one is a willy wonka joke.

This subtitle laughs at the previous joke

This one mentions “Canoodling noises” whatever that is

Excited chicken noises

Goon screm

This subtitle reveals that the name of the pet dog species fizz has are called quivies.

And my personal favourite is this final subtitle at the very end of the episode saying that fizz’s quivies made it home safe and sound.
