Starfield Can't Be "Fixed", Even With a 2.0 Update (Which This Isn't)

Starfield's incoming major update, Free Lanes, adds a swathe of new interplanetary content to the space sim that forgot to simulate space. And it's a welcome, generous update along with the new Terran Armada DLC and an exciting new PS5 version. But let's be clear: it doesn't fundamentally change Starfield, or fix any of its perceived issues, because that very sense of immersion that makes Starfield a Bethesda game sits at the heart of why Creation Engine 3 is ill-suited to making a space game.
