-Spoiler Alert- In “Hurm,” Mark Grayson / Invincible is still shaken by how violently he acted in the previous episode and confesses that he nearly killed a man while trying to stop the Sequids. That guilt follows him when Damien Darkblood unexpectedly returns and pulls him into a mission connected to Hell itself. Darkblood needs Mark’s help confronting a demonic threat below the surface, forcing Mark into a surreal descent where the episode mixes horror imagery with dark comedy. Back on Earth, the larger Viltrumite War remains in the background, with small updates reminding viewers that Mark’s personal crisis is unfolding while far bigger threats continue building. The episode ends with Mark returning from Hell emotionally unsettled but slightly clearer about how dangerous his anger has become. His father shows up right as he's about to be told he will be a father.
