This time, the action of the film takes viewers to the mysterious planet of Furya, the birthplace of the warlike race of Furians, where Riddick will face trials that will turn his fate and the entire galaxy upside down. The project was joined by Ana de Armas, who played the surviving furya, a charismatic and deadly warrior whose meeting with Riddick will be the key to unlocking ancient secrets.

The plot revolves around Riddick's search for the origins of his origins. On Furya, devastated by centuries of wars and betrayal, he discovers the ruins of a civilization that holds an artifact of incredible power. With the help of his companion, whose role is brilliantly played by de Armas, the hero awakens the dormant energy of the planet, discovering abilities that defy the laws of the universe. This "hidden power" not only makes him almost invulnerable, but also poses a choice: use it for personal survival or change the balance of power in the universe, challenging threats such as reborn Necromancers and new cosmic tyrants.

Director David Toohey retains the saga's signature style: dark aesthetics, ruthless hand-to-hand combat, and philosophical questions about the price of strength. Dynamic action scenes set against the backdrop of alien landscapes of Furya are combined with a deep study of the characters — especially memorable is the tense duet of Diesel and de Armas, where mutual distrust gradually develops into an alliance for a common goal.
