Rathtars - Star Wars Creatures Explained Fast

Rathtars were large cephalopods from the toxic and swampy planet Twon Ketee. Their round bodies were covered in tentacles they used to grab their food, which they ate with massive mouths ringed with countless teeth. They had no skeleton and small brains, but appeared to become more intelligent when hunting in a pack. Their skin was thick and rubbery, giving them resistance to blaster bolts and similar attacks. Rathtars were about 1.7 meters, or five and a half feet tall., and their tentacles were over four meters in length. There also existed a subspecies of Rathtar called the Dwarf Rathtar that developed on the planet Trillia, where they were responsible for a notorious massacre. A group of rathtars was called a remorse. #starwars
