What a rollercoaster of emotions we've got here...

It was such an honor to partner with the ever so talented Celestial-Rainstorm to bring forth this heart-wrenching masterpiece! At the very start of the year I came to Cel with sketched ideas of this comic and we worked very hard to bring this piece of work to life. In addition to this, as if the visuals weren't heart breaking enough, we got the original VA's for LAB to dub this comic and knock it out of the waters! Everyone worked incredibly hard to bring this concept to life to the artist and the va's, to the editing.

Thank you to everyone who help bring this to life and hopefully, you enjoyed this short comic as we work on the next episodes.

_________________________________________________________________________ I tend to tell the more brighter side of things when it comes to my stories. But if we can be real for just one moment, there's something more that goes on beneath the surface of a pretty picture.

When the Diamond Dogs took Celestia, Sombra was more so scared than infuriated. Who could blame him? And as if stakes weren't high enough, when a baby is ready to come out into the world, there's no stopping the process. Both the mother and her child are at a very high risk if things don't go right in the proper amount of time. Even though fate was in their favor and everything turned out okay, that doesn't mean our dear Sombra didn't think otherwise. Did you ever stop to wonder what could have happened if the birth didn't go so smoothly (as smoothly as any birth goes Sweating a little...) ? What would have happened if something went wrong? From the high levels of stress, to loss of blood, to literally the position they were in, Tia's life could have easily slipped away in the twinkling of an eye. And in this situation it wouldn't just be poor Celestia Sombra could have lost, but his dear beloved daughter too. If she didn't come out in a certain amount of time the poor newborn's lungs would have been filled with fluids and well...she's just a newborn. To lose not just the love of your life, but your new love of your life too? At the same time? It's too much for one individual to bare at once, even in thought. As for Sombra, while for the most part he's a happy content individual, every so often our dear King gets haunted by the fact of the events that transpired that day. How easily he could of lost it all...

A father's love for his family knows no bounds. And he's vowed on his life to do whatever it takes to make sure his family is safe and sound....
