The brutal winter wallop is not letting up with a slew of emergencies across the country from rising hospitalizations to rescue missions. In Michigan, health officials say emergency room visits for “cold related illness” are up 50%. With temperatures already bitterly cold, the next blast of even colder arctic air is on the way.
