So, it’s finally here. James Gunn’s Superman has officially released, and I loved it. I love the action, I love the music, I love Lois and Lex and Mr. Terrific and everybody involved. But oh my god I love David Corenswet as Superman.

And ever since I saw it, I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it. The movie isn’t perfect by any means, it can be a little bit messy at times, and it’s not the “second coming of Kal-El” that so many were hoping this would be. Frankly it’s not even my favorite James Gunn movie. But honestly I don’t care, because I had a smile on my face from start to finish that all my problems disappeared. Every time I’ve seen it I’ve walked away wanting to be a better person. And I have so many things that I want to talk about.

Not only what the movie does right, some of the controversial decisions with it and my problems with it, as well as just the general... "discourse" and how talking about movies is so hard nowadays.
