Firebreak will premiere on Netflix on February 20.

Directed by David Victori (Sky Rojo,No matarás), Firebreak is a psychological thriller starring Belén Cuesta, Joaquín Furriel, Enric Auquer, and Diana Gómez.

After the death of Mara’s (Belén Cuesta) husband, she and her daughter Lide (Candela Martínez) travel to the family’s summer house in the forest with her brother in law Luis (Joaquín Furriel), his wife Elena (Diana Gómez), and Elena’s son (Mika Arias) to prepare the property for sale. What was meant to be a step toward closure turns into a nightmare when Lide disappears just as a wildfire breaks out in the area. In a race against time, shaped by fire and rising tension, suspicion quickly falls on Santi (Enric Auquer), the forest ranger, as the truth becomes increasingly elusive.

A film where fear, guilt, and mistrust burn at the same pace as the forest.
