Creative Director, Brian Hayes, walks us through how to escape or finish a submission in EA SPORTS UFC 3.

The submission game can be stressful. Especially if you're getting choked out on your stomach with your opponent on your back. However, there's good news - escaping a submission isn't that complicated. If your opponent locks on to a submission, the only thing you need to worry about is the right stick.

Push the right stick up, down, left, or right, to push any one of the break walls all the way to the edge of the submission HUD. Do that, and you're out!

Your opponent can block you from reaching the break wall by matching your direction with the right stick. If you're pushing on a wall and it's not moving, push to a different wall.

The more you push each break wall out, the more progress you will make in your escape attempt. So stay active, breath, watch your stamina, and you'll end up on top.
