In dog day we see he doesn’t have them at first because he doesn’t accept he’s dog day yet, but when the mini critters overtake him he gains the eye rings we see on catnap. Not only him but doey when he loses the safe haven and becomes a monster, huggy after he was captured, and even boxy after eating the employees gained these white eye circles, but why? Well they all share one similar trait which is that they gain these when they lose control of themselves and become the monsters they were made to be.
