So, the first trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day just released. And it looks really exciting. Thw suit is absolutely gorgeous, I love referencing different iconic comic covers. And I really dig the darker tone that they’re going for with Tom Holland in comparison to the brighter and more fun “Home Trilogy.” Director Destin Daniel Cretton has really impressed me with his other work in the MCU like Shang Chi and Wonder Man, and from the looks of things it seems like he truly understands Spider-Man and what makes him so special.

I’m gonna try not to get my hopes up too much though. You know how trailers go, if you get too excited you’re inevitably gonna set yourself up for disappoint—
