Now this is the biggest official Avengers Doomsday trailer leak. The trailer was supposed to drop on the 11th — but you never got it. And once you hear why, you’ll actually be glad Marvel held it back.

Marvel planned to release the Doomsday trailer on December 11th to clash with the Supergirl trailer. But Disney instantly shut it down because of Avatar Fire and Ash. Dropping the Doomsday trailer that day would’ve completely overshadowed Avatar Disney’s own giant. So they pulled the plug, even after Marvel had already uploaded the trailer to YouTube. They made it private and sent the trailer straight to theaters instead.

And yes — if you want to see it early, you have to go to theaters. A leak from Brazil just confirmed it: the trailer is officially paired with Avatar Fire and Ash and the final runtime is 1 minute 27 seconds. It drops in theaters on December 18th and 19th, then goes public on YouTube later.
