Despite the ruthless Locust war destroying nearly every inch of the planet of Sera, there were some places that seemed to get super lucky! The island of Vectes, Azura, and today's example a small settlement called Harkness Glen! It was a small place hidden in a valley outside the major city of Char which we visited in Gears of War 3. For some reason they were able to evade the war, really only having to worry about the Stranded. They never had any interactions with the Locust until AFTER the end of the war but thankfully they had Marcus Fenix there to save them!
